My name is Yanira Gale. I am enrolled in the Masters in Education Digital Education Leadership program at Seattle Pacific University.
I have been tutoring and teaching Spanish since 2002. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from University of California, Irvine. I taught High School and Middle School as a Certified Teacher in California. After moving to Seattle, I started a home-school language learning support center, and taught Spanish at Sky Valley Education Center, and Spanish K-12 at Labyrinth Homeschool Co-Op. I also taught Spanish and Dual Language Social Studies at Park Place Middle School in Monroe. I am currently a Certified Teacher in Washington State.
I am passionate about culture and language learning, pedagogical approaches, best practices, and digital education. I enjoy reading about teaching and learning in general, and specifically about the latest research brain function and learning, as well as the impact of digital technologies in education.
I also like running, hiking, kayaking, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors.
